My Students

Through the halls of our school comes much diversity and background. Beauty is found in our classrooms in all shapes, colors, and sizes. This dynamic makes it important to work together as a community. I've always embraced this African Proverb: "If you want to go quickly, go alone; if you want to go far, go together."

At our school, we are learning how to walk together as teachers and students.

Students that are in need of extra help struggle daily to grow and progress. With the right tools, we can help them feel successful. Their education is important, and learning is crucial for their success in the future.

My Project

With 2020 being a huge year of increased technology we would like to add an iPad Pro to our classroom.

Students with special needs can greatly benefit from technology.

We would use our iPad for communication, for Boom Card learning and for other educational needs. As teachers, we also use it to create things on Procreate for our students that will benefit their education. We hope to use this to help teach as well, the big screen can show Nearpod presentations and Kahoot during small group instruction. It will be a great tool in our classroom.
