See what Mrs. Corbett is requestingI need National Board Certification to make me a better teacher by pushing myself to become accomplished by fulfilling this process.

I am requesting the tuition for Component 4 of the National Board Certification process for Early Childhood Generalist. I will be working continuously over the next year, honing in on my educational practices, conducting student case studies, studying new national standards, and documenting the journey through educational videos and projects to better myself as a teaching professional.
Your donations to help me achieve National Board certification will impact my students' lives!
This project will serve as a scholarship for me to go through arguably the most rigorous teaching evaluation process a teacher can go through, which is called National Board. In this process, I will fulfill 5 propositions: (1) be committed to students and their learning, (2) know the subjects I teach and monitor student learning, (3) think systematically about my practice and learn from experience, and (5) be a member of the learning community. I must submit strong and rigorous artifacts and pass online assessments evaluated by the National Board in order to be certified. Artifacts consist of recorded classroom teaching videos, student work, and more. The whole process may take 1 to 3 years. The fulfillment of this project will help me grow professionally via this certification process. I want to become a more knowledgeable teacher, have greater skills to meet students' needs, and be more keenly aware of how my teaching practices affect all students.
