My Students

Engaged and eager to learn- this is the best way to describe the students in my class. The students in my class are very eager to learn more and want every opportunity to do so.

Many of my students are from various challenging home lives and school is their only outlet or safe place.

Many of them just want to be loved and appreciated. They want to feel like a part of a family and they expect their school and classroom experience to feel that way.

My Project

Reading is already difficult with kindergarten students. Some of these kids have never held a book or have been told a story. In my classroom I want to make reading fun.

Books already can take you places you have never been, but add comfortable seats and then the magic really begins.

Even adults like to find their perfect spot to read and float away in their book. So, why not give the kids that same luxury.

These bean bags will give my students a comfortable place to relax and enjoy reading right in the classroom. Tables and chairs are so last year! Let's bring in the beanbags and let the relaxing begin.
