These kids need a safe, fun, and relaxing place to sit back and enjoy reading. Currently, they sit in hard chairs at their desks in order to read their books. With a carpet and fun bench, they will have a warmer and more relaxing space to sit back and read. This way they feel more comfortable about reading books in other areas than just the typical chair and desk. Reading should be fun! It shouldn't feel like a chore and be boring. Giving them this cozy corner will give them more incentive to pick up a book and read. It will also give them a place to cool down when they are frustrated or not feeling well.
