This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Beakers are one of the most fundamental and versatile pieces of equipment in any chemistry lab. They allow students to precisely measure liquids, mix solutions, perform reactions, and make observations. However, with repeated use year after year, beakers inevitably become chipped, cracked, stained, or broken and need to be replaced to ensure student safety and accurate lab work.

By funding this project to replenish my stock of beakers in various sizes, you will be directly supporting my students' scientific education for years to come.

With an ample supply of beakers in excellent condition, my students will be able to engage fully in the exciting hands-on experiments and activities that make chemistry come alive.

Whether it's observing dynamic color changes, synthesizing compounds, or analyzing reaction rates, beakers play an essential role. Having the right sizes and quantities will allow students to work efficiently in pairs and small groups, building their collaboration and communication skills along with their chemistry knowledge. Well-equipped student workstations will help inspire a love for scientific discovery.

Your contribution to this project will have a positive impact on hundreds of young learners as they gain scientific skills and a deeper understanding of the world around them. The beakers you help provide will nurture my students' development into the scientists, doctors, engineers and researchers of tomorrow.
