Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are exicted to celebrate the end of the year in a bright and neon way. They will be going to a beach clean up to protect our ocean life environment.
They will be taking their drawstring bag, towels and glasses and have a great experience cleaning our beach.
We will spend the day picking up trash and collecting objects from the sand. They will have the opportunity to either sell their items or save them as treasrues. The drawstring bags will be helpful to save any items that they found. Also, students can wear their sunglasses to protect them from the sun and use their water bottles to keep them hydrated. This project will be lots of fun and at the end they can splash in the waves and use their colorful towels to dry themselves.
