Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach at an urban elementary school in Connecticut, which consists of Pre-K through 8th grades. My school is a Title I public school where most of the families are low income. My school is a great school where there is a focus on giving all students the opportunity to learn in a variety of ways.
My students are an awesome group of students who are ready and excited to learn everyday!
The students in my 3rd and 4th grade class have various disabilities. Despite their challenges, they are eager to learn and deserve every opportunity to do so. I am very fortunate to be able to teach these students who strive to achieve in every way.
My Project
I am looking forward to starting this new school year off right by supplying my students with the things they need to be successful. Crayons, markers, pencils, highlighters, glue, and paper are basic things that my students will need to complete assignments and hands-on projects throughout the year. Being able to use the 3 ring hole punch will help the students organize their papers.
I want my students to be prepared and feel successful in class in all the new concepts they learn.
These basic supplies will help the students in starting the year prepared and be able to continue in being successful!
