My Project

The students in my classroom come from diverse, family oriented backgrounds and they love learning! Our students practice The Six Pillars of Character--Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring and Citizenship. My students have different academic and emotional needs due to COVID-19 and my curriculum has had to shift to accommodate that. Despite the challenges and gaps from COVID-19, my students have the biggest hearts and amazing grit! They don't shy away from challenges and they give 110% of themselves in the classroom! They are the best!

My project will use a GoPro11 to create informational videos including field trips and on-campus activities, to build confidence and work on team building.

The students also will be using their writing skills to plan their projects and write scripts. They will work as a team to produce videos that can be shown to peers and the community that will showcase their learning experiences.
