Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

As we enter our hygiene unit, it is important for us to stress the significance of taking care of ourselves. Many of our students are noticing changes as they grow and develop. The products requested will help provide my students with the basic hygienic necessities for self-care. The products include feminine products, undergarments, lotion, breath mints, and hand sanitizer.

Unfortunately, several of our students are not prepared with proper hygiene items.

We have also requested laundry detergent to help wash clothing items when students have accidents. My students know that they can come to me if they need anything. I am hoping to provide them with a private and safe space where they can access these products when needed. These products will promote help self-care along with well-being.
