My Project

As a yearly tradition, our school is having a Battle of the Books competition for 3rd-5th grade students. There are 20 books, varying in genre and reading ability, that students can read throughout the school year. I currently only have about 6 of the books in my classroom. The school library and county library have several copies but are often not available.

I would love to have multiple copies of these Battle of the Books titles in my classroom so they are available to my students.

The past two years my class has made it to the 3rd and 4th grade final round, winning once and second place once. I would love to continue igniting my student's love of reading through the Battle of the Books reading competition.
