Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

As students get older, challenges arise as we learn to help navigate them on their journeys. Celebrating small wins and big wins, is still an achievement for the student.

I would like to give all of my students-athletes' the chance to receive awards for their hard work this basketball season, especially the students that persistently work hard in class daily at school, but still falls short of receiving school benchmark awards and incentives.

By creating a classroom Incentive Store, this could possibly create opportunities for students to do well academically, and decrease bad behaviors. These materials will reward students for all of their small and big wins in reaching their goals in both academics and behaviors.
