This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

The students I teach are amazing scholars and leaders. My students are determined learners, who care deeply about their community and friends. Everyday, each student is eager to learn more and do more. They challenge themselves to accomplish their goals with pride no matter the obstacle. They speak out against the social injustices they see in their community and organize to act on it.

Each student is unique in their own wonderful way and share their positive qualities in the classroom with determination and character.

My students come from a diverse community that prepares them to become future leaders in our diverse world.

My Project

With these materials, students will be able to participate in building their basketball skills. Students need an ample amount of equipment in order to provide students with ample opportunities to explore their level of skill and improve from that point. These supplies allows students to learn how to pass, dribble, score, understand offensive and defensive strategies, while improving their overall health.

Basketball is a fun team sport that allows each student to improve their hand-eye coordination and cardiovascular health.

These supplies will enable our physical education to provide meaningful learning experiences.
