Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I am planning ahead and trying to get some basic school supplies for the new, upcoming school year. There are several supplies that students need daily at school and I would like to have a classroom supply to provide to my students. Some of these basic school supplies include pencils, pencil sharpeners, glue sticks, pocket folders, etc.

Students need basic school supplies to succeed at school.

By having these supplies, my students won't have to worry about whether they have supplies or not. Pencils and erasers are utensils that they need every day to do their work. Glue sticks are used in arts and crafts as well as interactive notebooks. Pocket folders are used to store their work. These are just some of the basic school supplies that my students will need.
