This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our students are high-poverty, high-needs, and highly capable. We have a diverse population, which includes many varying socioeconomic levels, as well as students who qualify for various Special Needs programs, such as Intensive Learning Center, Intensive Academic Center, English Language Learners, Special Education, Challenge Program, and much more.

We provide many opportunities for extracurricular involvement and include arts as an important part of this.

Our kids are enthusiastic and motivated and really enjoy doing things that involve more than just sitting, reading, and writing. Our kids have great potential.

My Project

We need basics to keep learning going!

This project request several very basic items which can help us keep the learning going using the tools we already have.

With a supply of sharpened pencils, students can always participate. With paper and ink, we can always provide students with the printed guidance they need to learn, especially for those for whom English is not a first language. With super glue, I can repair cracks in ukuleles and properly maintain other classroom items.

Students are ready and willing to learn, and they often need support and basic supplies. Thank you for helping us provide that.
