Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students have welcomed me with open arms and made me feel right at home. With the school year halfway done, my students have been very patient and understanding of me being a new teacher. We have learned so much together and they have been my rock!

When they come to my classroom, they have huge smiles on their faces and are ready to learn.

I am committed to helping my students grow and intrigued to become lifelong learners.

My Project

The materials funded will help me and my students stay organized. Each student having their own binder to keep their work will help them stay better organized and worry less about the clutter. We will also be able to laminate materials the students might want to save.

A lot of the things we do, especially activities for the younger students, require velcro dots and we run out of them constantly.

Velcro dots allow us to provide more hands-on activities for our students and it also gives students the opportunity to show their knowledge without having to actually write anything down.
