Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our school is very special; we are a high-performing, Title I, Renaissance school. Our school population is about 88% Hispanic, 7% Caucasian, about 3% African American, and about 2% Asian. Most of our students are English language learners. Our high performance is really due to how hard our students work. Their great efforts score enormous gains for our school.

In addition to our hard-working students, we truly have great caring families which allow our school culture to be one of a kind.

Our parents and students value education as much as our teachers do. Together with our families, we make our school a wonderful place for students to learn and teachers to teach!

My Project

This project includes essential student supplies such as; copy paper, student dry erase boards, double sided tape and ink for our printer. Many of these supplies are quickly dwindling in our classroom as we have been working hard this school year!

This project will supply us with much needed copy paper and a set of dry erase boards to provide students with interactive ways to respond in class discussion.

My goal as a teacher is to provide students with educational and engaging learning experiences therefore, I thank you in advance for your consideration to donate to our classroom, and helping my accomplish this goal.
