My Project

Imagine being in a classroom trying to complete your work but the supplies you need aren't available. Second grade can be a fun and exciting year, but it is also a year filled with a lot of learning. My students are very active and ready to learn.

They enjoy learning in various settings throughout the day including whole group, small groups, and learning stations.

They also are willing to help others when they need it. The students in my classroom come from all ranges of backgrounds. My classroom is full of all different races and ethnicities. But their ethnicity or background does not matter when it comes to learning. My students enter my classroom every day ready to learn something new!

I am asking for supplies such as highlighters, pencils, expo markers, and cardstock paper to make the day-to-day operations in class run more smoothly. The card stock paper will also be used to make projects and foldables in math, science, and social studies. These products give my students the ability to participate in class without worrying about supplies or being distracted by the materials that they forgot to bring. These expo markers, pencils, highlighters, and paper will also provide resources for more engaging and interactive activities. With these products, students will be participating in more fun and enlightening activities.

If the students have what they need each day to succeed and the supplies they need at hand's reach, they are in a better space to learn. Also, these materials will help inspire my students to become active participants in the classroom, rather than having to worry about not having the proper materials to complete their assignments.
