I am a third-grade teacher. I have a wonderful group of students! They are constantly impressing me with their hard-working attitudes, amazing work ethics, and overall positive outlooks on life. I am so proud to be their teacher. They deserve the best education possible.
I teach at a rural, Title I school serving approximately three hundred students.
Every child receives free breakfast and lunch. We are located near a large military base and, as a result, serve children of active duty and retired military. Our school serves students from many socioeconomic backgrounds including homeless students, who at times may live with family, friends, or other relatives.
Our students are bright and eager to learn new things. They are hard workers and strive to make their world a better place.
My Project
This project is very important to me, due to the importance of the requested supplies. The main part of this project are basic supplies that will be utilized daily in the classroom. My students could really use supplies such as dry erase boards, dry erase erasers, pencils, and dry erase spray. The boards especially can be used year after year.
We are a Title 1 school, funds are often limited for needed materials and other supplies.
I am so grateful to have this project funded on Donors Choose. This project is very near and dear to my heart. I want to instill a love of learning into my students. Thank you for supporting my classroom! Between the dry erase boards which could be used daily in small and whole group lessons. The erasers for it will be used as well to help maintain a successful time with the boards.
