What I love most about my students is how caring and ambitious they are. They love working together towards a goal and are competitive for both attention and achievement. One of their favorite classroom activities is read-alouds and novel studies.
This class is multicultural and diverse in many other ways which is why I want to give them as many opportunities to show achievement and a share sense of accomplishment as possible.
I want to give them what it takes for them to succeed and attain that self-worth I know they deserve.
My Project
Many students struggle to get the materials they need to start the school year. Some students come to school having nothing at all. My goal is to help those students get the supplies they need so that focusing in school is a little bit easier. The supplies will be used in Language Arts, Writing, and Social Studies.
The supplies I am requesting will allow my students to participate in meaningful and creative lessons and activities while staying organized.
The headphones will allow them to participate in online programs. The glue sticks, pencil pouches, and paper will allow them to complete a variety of lessons such as writing essays and creating their own plays and poetry. The pencil pouches will keep their supplies organized and in one place. With your help, my students can start off the school year knowing they have everything they need.
