My Students

Goooooooooo Tigers! I teach at a very special elementary school located in front of the beautiful Koolau mountains in Kaneohe, Hawaii. At our school, students and teachers educate, motivate, and support all through engaging learning opportunities to be successful in the future.

I teach first grade and let me tell you, I absolutely love it!

My classroom is a place for students to be themselves, make mistakes, and grow. I accept all the diverse personalities in my classroom and give each student the opportunity to express themselves. I build such a strong relationship with my students which makes them feel very safe and loved. My students also make me feel loved too! One of my students said, "I want to come to school every day, on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years." I can't wait to watch this group of kiddos grow up and graduate!

My Project

First Graders love hands on activities! These activities are fun ways to help cement knowledge in their brains. Unfortunately, these activities use many basic classroom school supplies that I cannot afford. My school usually provides teachers with a small stipend to cover these things, but due to covid and funding, they will not be giving anything.

I do not want my first graders to miss out on these learning opportunities due to lack of funding.

My students will use all the supplies throughout the year to stay healthy and safe, keep a distance, and complete learning projects in English, Math, Science, Social Studies, Art, and other subjects. Please help us out! With these supplies my students will get to learn in a fun way just like their older siblings did!
