My Project

Hi there! My name is Lynsey Meissner and I am a school-based occupational therapist at two elementary schools and a middle school. One of my elementary schools and my middle school has huge needs for supplies and supports for occupational therapy services. I am lacking very basic supplies such as scissors, pencils, markers, paper, and adaptive pencil grips as well as fine motor games and sensory fidgets. Many of the students I work with have disabilities and did not receive consistent OT services for the 2023-2024 school year. My goal is to fill in those gaps by providing high quality OT and these supplies will help so much!

The list includes fine motor games, adaptive pencil grips, stickers (great for developing fine motor skills!) adaptive paper, fidgets, and basic supplies such as markers, crayons, scissors (adaptive and regular), and construction paper.

Your donation will help my students with sensory and fine motor needs to receive the supports they need to participate in school to their fullest ability!

I'm so grateful for the work I get to do as a school-based OT coming alongside students to help them understand and celebrate their differences.
