Basic Needs: From my Cart to Yours!

My students need materials to see our posters hanging proudly. We also need some hand sanitizer to keep us healthy and clean.

My Students

My students are great critical thinkers who need post-it notes to help facilitate critical thinking. My students tell me they want to be lawyers, scientists, park rangers, and doctors. They are striving for success, and it is my job as a teacher to help them in any way possible. They are the future, and they want to critically engage with texts. They want to make connections, ask questions, and highlight beautiful quotes. They want to be the best readers they can be.

My Project

A good room should be engaging and motivating. I have many beautiful posters that talk about English concepts and famous moments in history. I have posters that are representing our different histories and representing marginalized communities. I have tried duct tape, masking tape, and the only thing that will stick is these 3m strips.

My students currently wait to watch our posters slowly fall to the ground.

We need these 3m strips to keep our posters up and take them down every year for summer painting and such.

Please help me stop buying classroom materials with my own money and instead invest in my classroom.

Another need for our classroom is hand sanitizer. In the past I have been able to get this material from other organizations, but these two things will help me start my year out on the right foot!
