My Students
My students walk into our classroom every day full of life, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them that day. They love learning and excel using many of the arts as we sing, draw, paint, etc. We also use technology in our classroom as we are living in the 21st century. I want to prepare them for the future. They live in a great area. Some of them are new to our country and learning English. It is a very diverse class socio-economically and levels of learning.
My Project
We have 50 students in our 2 DLI classes. The headphones are needed for students to each have their own set this year due to Corona Virus. The pencils and lead are needed as replacements for students. We try not to use the pencil sharpener so that it won't have to be cleaned, etc between uses. These 3 items will help our classroom run smoothly and not have to ask parents for donations as the economy recovers. The community will greatly appreciate the generosity from this grant as their children return to school.
