Help me give my students their basic needs for them to be successful everyday at school.

My Project

Providing students with basic necessities such as book bags, feminine hygiene products, and personal care items can make a meaningful difference in students' ability to learn. When students have the supplies they need and feel comfortable and cared for, they are better able to focus on instruction instead of worrying about an immediate personal need. Having these items available at school can also help students maintain their dignity, confidence, and readiness to participate in the classroom.

My goal for this project is to remove some of the everyday barriers that can interfere with learning.

I want students to know that asking for help does not have to be embarrassing and that their basic needs matter. By providing these essential items discreetly and respectfully, we can help students feel supported, prepared, and more confident throughout the school day.

Our students are special because they are resilient, hardworking, and capable of achieving great things. Every student has unique strengths, goals, and challenges, and sometimes a small act of support can make a big difference. This project will help create a school environment where students know they are valued, supported, and able to focus on their education and future.
