Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
This is my first year teaching and I am so excited to meet my students. The school I will be teaching at is in a large metropolitan city. If you were to visit my classroom you would see a wealth of activities that students are engaged in.
The students come from diverse homes in Southeast Fresno.
I am so excited to bring energy to my school and provide the love for learning to these students who haven't been in school for over a year from the pandemic. Many students come from divorced families or single-family moms, and many live below the poverty line.
As a new teacher, I know that I will make a difference for so many. Thank you for considering my grant.
My Project
Second grade is one of the funnest grades when it comes to art projects! We do a small art project almost every day. Whether it is coloring, cutting, or pasting, we cannot get enough of it!
Help my students refresh their basic necessities for their art projects!
The crayons, markers, dry erase markers, pencils, and colored pencils my students have now are broken, used up, and ready for a fresh pack. The materials will be loved and used every day in our classroom! Thank you for considering my project and my students thank you in advanced!
