This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My special education students come from low income demographics who could use supplies and materials in the classroom that at this time of the year, the ones I've purchased using my school budget already are down to a few items.

These amazing students try their best and work on their other general education classes' assignments in my study skills class.

At times, they might ask for markers, pencils, erasers and lined paper. I would love for them to have these essentials when they ask for them and not tell them to come back the next day or the next period (after I ask from my neighbor teacher at the end of the class).

They might have some learning challenges but they are trying their best in order to get their high school diploma with the support available. I'd like to thank you in advance in being part of this phase in realizing their goal in part of their life.

My Project

The pencils, papers, etc. will be used when students are writing classroom activities and colored pencils for projects from other classes. The supplies listed are basic stuff that students ask in my room when they come in.

The school year is about to end and so are my classroom supplies.

Students come in with little to no materials most of the time. Kindly fund this project so I can continue to help the students that are in my caseload and that I support in their general education classes.

These resources will help student learning and their success in all classes.
