Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many of our students rely on positive reinforcers and sensory supports to help them transition between activities, follow directions, regulate their emotions, and feel successful throughout the school day.

The requested materials will be used in the following ways:

• Play-Doh and slime will be used as sensory tools to help students regulate emotions, build hand strength, and decompress during structured breaks or as earned reinforcers.

My greatest goal is to motivate all students to come to school feeling welcomed, supported, and excited to learn. With these materials, we can create a positive, inclusive environment where students experience success, build confidence, and feel proud of their efforts every day.
