We are a culturally diverse, rural high school. Our students are the pride of our school system. Students compete on all levels from local to national through athletics, FFA, FBLA, and BETA club activities. As a high school media specialist, I serve the entire 9th- through the 12th-grade student population.
We have high expectations for our students, and we want them to leave high school fully prepared for whatever they have chosen, whether it be college, vocational, or straight into a career field.

My Project
The current school climate is tough! Our kids are working hard to meet their academic goals as well as training daily for various athletic and other extracurricular teams. We have managed to stay in school this year but it has been a trying experience.
Throughout all of this our Seniors are persevering by still putting forth their best effort daily despite not knowing what changes will happen tomorrow.
Making a choice of what college to attend is a huge choice and we are planning a huge Decision Day event at our school that will recognize and celebrate our seniors by letting them share their post high school plans. We would like to reward our seniors for all their hard work through high school and in particular for this past year with basic essential supplies. Some of the essential supplies they will need are cozy blankets for more comfortable studying and basic school supplies such as binders, paper and pens. These students are coming from many different backgrounds and for some, this will be the only gift they receive as they part their ways with high school. Please help support this project which will helps recognize our graduates.
