This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students come to school without basic school supplies. With donations for basic supplies such as pencils and paper, my students can walk into class knowing that the supplies they need to be successful will be provided. No more asking a neighbor or worrying about buying basic school supplies.

Having pencils, erasers, dry erasers and other basic supplies provided, will create one less worry my students have every day.

Being able to learn with the proper supplies is tremendous for students who come from less than ideal backgrounds.

The supplies this grant will give my students will help them focus on learning by taking away the worry of materials.
