My Project
My goal is to ensure that every student has the tools they need to succeed, but I need your help to make that happen. Many of my students are low income, inner- city students and simply can not afford the basic necessities needed for success throughout the school year. These storage binds, binders, notebooks highlighters and pencil pouches can make all the difference in the world to students in terms of them feeling set up for success. By having these basic supplies available to students on the first day of school, it helps to ensure a positive and successful start to the school year for them.
Providing these supplies will decrease the stress of many students wondering where or how they will get these needed supplies.
This evens the playing field amongst all students These supplies also serve to help my 7th graders keep, and stay, organized for class. . The expression and sense of relief seen on students faces when they are handed these items is indescribable. Being able to provide an environment that decreases stress, promotes positive mental health and increases success rates in the classroom is of utmost importance.
