This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
We are more than halfway done with this awesome school year. My students have worked so hard and have accomplished amazing things. We are in need of some basics to help us make it through the rest of the school year.
Pencils, glue, markers, and paper are at the top of our list.
These items will help us get reading for state testing as well as used for downtime when we are rewarding ourselves for our hard work. Students will use the erasers for the test and feel confident that they are fully erasing mistakes and making the right choice.
Rewards are key! These students need rewards to remind them how great they are and one big thing they love is candy.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
