This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students attend a k-8 school where sports funding is at a minimum. This school year, construction is affecting our softball and baseball fields, causing us to play all away games. Construction is also causing the soccer field to be blocked off until further notice. I want to give my athletes equipment to practice with so they can still enjoy their season without the burden of paying for it themselves.

These athletes deserve to play with equipment that isn't 5+ years old and worn down.

They are hard-working, great kids to work with and coach, and deserve this new equipment to prepare them for a great season!
