This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Student physical activities were definitely put to a stop with the pandemic. They went from being active in school and in the neighborhood to being behind a screen all day, every day. Now that we are back in school, we need to bring back their active lifestyle. This is where our new basketball after-school program comes to play.

Please help us give our students a jump start that will get them physically active and playing basketball.

Help us get enough basketballs to handle students all practicing a skill, with pumps to keep them on point.

Help us give our after-school group the materials they need to learn the skills needed for basketball. Our students truly need to get back into active lifestyles to guide them toward healthy futures.
