My Project

Science education builds upon prior knowledge, fostering a continuous growth in understanding. In my classes, I encourage students to keep their classwork in the classroom, utilizing binders labeled with their names to maintain organized notes. This setup facilitates easy access to materials, ensuring students have resources available, even when absent. Collaborative projects within the school classroom promote peer teaching, enhancing comprehension through shared learning experiences. Activities like creating posters for "comparison & contrast," and "explain with examples," along with hands-on exercises like using M&M's for understanding chemical equations, offer tactile learning opportunities. Recently, I introduced color circles to represent atoms, simplifying complex concepts for better comprehension. Utilizing sticker dots for poster creation facilitates a gallery walk, allowing students to explore multiple examples efficiently. Whether updating slides with images or illustrating concepts independently, students engage actively in their learning journey.
