I have a classroom of 20 kindergarten students from a Title I school in Virginia. Some of my students come to me knowing all their letters and sounds and some of my students come to me not knowing how to hold a pencil.
I want to create an environment where all of my students will learn, grow and reach their goal that will help them become successful students.
I enjoy watching my students learn and grow each day. It is such a great satisfaction as a teacher.
My Project
If you ask a kindergarten student what their favorite part of the school day was, they would reply RECESS! Little ones are active and have so much energy to burn off while at recess.
During these hard times of COVID-19 each student needs to have their own recess bag with fun equipment that will let them play and be safe by social distancing.
My students need to stay active and enjoy play time even though it will be different than before. In order for them to still have fun, they need jump ropes, balls, bubble wands, scarves and cones.
