Badminton 4 Fun!

My Students

What makes our students special is that they are always so happy. Whenever someone is feeling down, others tend to quickly take notice and help bring them back up.

Our students' outlook on life is so uplifting that it is hard as an educator to feel down when we come to work.

As someone who has been in education for 13 years, this school really shows the meaning of "coming together."

With the pandemic shutting down or restricting parks and recreation facilities in the area, our students and families are in more need for opportunities to lead an active and healthy lifestyle than ever!

My Project

Funding for this project will allow kindergarten through 5th grade the opportunity to practice cooperation and teamwork in PE. Currently, our students only have a set of "old school" pickleball paddles and tennis racquets for HALF a class. Having a full set of equipment is essential for any PE program looking to reach all students effectively.

Bringing badminton to our school will allow each child to experience the game of a lifetime.

This will connect siblings among multiple grade levels and all students for years to come. The best part about this racquet sport is that we can play it on any surface, which is essential because we don't always have enough space in the gym.
