This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are a bright, kind, and eager group of kiddos that I cannot wait to work with this year. The students, families, and staff at our school are dedicated to creating an amazing community of learning. We have a diverse population from many different backgrounds that have come together to learn and grow.

And we couldn't be more excited to do just that!

Education is the key to success for my students. Kindergarten is just one of so many adventures that they will take in their life and I am so excited for us to be a part of that for them! I will do everything I can to make this year an exciting, engaging, and enriching year for them and I hope that you'll join me in that. Your impact will be incredible for these students.

My Project

With 20 students in one classroom, things get cramped and crowded very quickly. We're currently making the best by storing backpacks, coats and lunchboxes on the backs of chairs. However as you can imagine, things get messy and disorganized this way. The bags continually fall and litter our floor, taking up what already little space we have. This backpack storage unit would be the perfect solution!

This cart would give each and every student a place in their classroom to store their things.

We can store up to 28 backpacks on the hooks, plus coats in the winter months and water bottles and lunch boxes year round. We can better accommodate each student this way. It would also add an extra layer of safety and give us a more calm and serene learning environment. Thanks so much in advance for supporting my classroom!
