My Project

Our classrooms serve students with Individualized Educationi Plans. Our students rotate between our classrooms for their core instructional classes during the school day.

We create a lot of the materials that we use in class and go through a lot of resources as a result.

This project aims to replace some of the materils that we have used during the past school year as well as to replace some of the equipment that is no longer usable.

The colored paper will be used for students weekly choiceboard assignments, students use these visual schedules to help them know what to complete and also get to pick some of the assignments as a "free choice" activity. The laminater and hole punch will be replacing items that we currently have in the classroom that are no longer able to be used due to age and wear and tear. The corner cutter will be used to trim the edges of the pages that we laminate (so students can reuse them) since the edges are quite sharp. The pom poms and cups will be used to create a sorting station where students can sort by color and quantity for math class.
