My students need basic school supplies. Glue, nameplates, pens, chart paper, writing paper, and construction paper are important supplies that we have run out of.

My Students

How challenging would it be for students to come to school each day with no supplies? The $500 allotted to teachers each year goes by so quickly. As a result, I have no money left to replenish these diminished supplies.

I have the absolute best class in the world.

My students are sweet and hardworking. They come to school each day ready to work and learn. The majority of my students this year come from low-income families, which makes it difficult to ask for extra supplies to be sent in by parents. Our school is a Title I school, with the majority of our students being on free and reduced lunches. These kids are the best, and I believe they deserve the best!

My Project

The resources I'm requesting will allow me to continue teaching the way I have been teaching all year. Without these supplies, teaching and learning will become very difficult. We desperately need to replenish our basic school supplies in order to finish out the school year. Students will continue to be able to learn in a hands-on classroom if these supplies are replenished. The construction paper will also allow them to create crafts and develop research projects in an artistic way.

This project is absolutely essential to the functioning of my classroom.

Without these basic supplies, we will be in dire straights for the remainder of the school year. It is so important that students are given the supplies they need in order to be successful. If my students had these supplies, I could breath easier and be a happier, more exciting teacher.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
