They work hard every day and make me so proud to be their teacher.
They are in Kindergarten and for many of them, this is their first school experience. My students are 5-6 years old. They are full of energy and love learning. I am always amazed at how much growth my students have during their Kindergarten year. I know that if they had the books and supplies needed it would really catapult their learning. Many of my students are learning English for the first time. My students attend a public school deep in the heart of an inner city. Our school is small and houses 9 Kindergarten classes. Despite living in impoverished conditions, my students come to school excited and eager to learn.
It's back to school time!! My classroom needs some supplies to start our year off on the right foot. My students need kinetic sand, magnetic blocks, and bamboo blocks to add some fun to our day. We are also in need of some basic supplies like scissors, glue, expo markers, and erasers. I am also asking for some amazing read aloud stories that will help teach my students how to use the materials we have. The pencil and crayon holders will help us organize the materials. They will learn how to share and work together using the materials.
Donating to this project will help to spark excitement for back to school in my young students!
Your donation will help to foster a love and excitement for school. Your donation will help to foster a love of reading and language for many students. These materials will be used for many years to come, with the potential for impacting more students than you can imagine.
