My Project

These school supplies are much needed and will serve as replenishment as we depleted our stock pile this year. Our economy in our state has been struggling for years as coal mines and steel plants have been closed. They provided jobs to many in our community. This has also affected funding for our state's education programs. Teachers no longer get supply money. Each year we are asked to provide necessities for our classroom.

In order to make learning fun, and help our students reach success, we are needing basic school supply items.

My students will be able to use their whiteboard markers and erasers for daily math word problems of the day. They will also use these to practice spelling and phonics skills.

My students will be able to use headphones to take reading quizzes, as well as practicing focus skills on our curriculum websites. We will use our counting cubes as math manipulatives when doing a variety of 2nd grade math standards.

I will be able to use the labels and laminating sheets for classroom center games that students will use to practice individual skills.
