Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

All of the items that your support will help us to purchase are the basic tools that we need in our reading and writing classroom. Without these, we are not able to continue the basic note taking, essay writing, and analysis writing that we do on a daily basis. Pencils and pencil sharpeners are essential in our classroom. Many of my students come without these supplies and trying to track them down takes up our educational time. By having these on hand, we use our time to learn more effectively.

Along with our pencils, we need notebooks in which to organize our thoughts and ideas.

By helping us to purchase these, you are keeping young minds active and engaged, both necessary for supporting our learning. The poster boards will help us to complete group projects, demonstrating the knowledge we gained during our lessons.

All of these supplies will be put to great use in our English Language Arts Classroom.
