My students need composition books, binders, and writing instruments in order for them to complete assignments.
"Take out a piece of paper." For many of my students, this simple directive is a challenge.
The students in my special education English class are not able to afford basic school supplies.
The school population is predominately indigenous with most on government assistance. They are hard working students who would like to make their families proud and graduate high school with a diploma.
The composition books, flash drives, and writing instruments will positively influence my students education. These items along with index cards and chart paper will greatly enhance the learning experience for the students by providing them with the essentials to complete their work. Students are borrowing these supplies from each other or sometimes opt out of the work due to embarrassment. Students will state that they would rather take a zero than ask peers for supplies.
My students need composition books, binders, and writing instruments in order for them to complete assignments. These supplies will give my students the ability to complete work and further their academic success. Students need to produce work for achievement. Supplies are needed for this to occur.
Students need supplies in order to succeed in school.
It is imperative that students have the necessary tools to complete assignments. Education can't take place when students are concerned about issues that are beyond their control. The school supplies will alleviate one aspect of an already difficult life.
