This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
We are a very diverse group of students who come from all walks of life. We serve a large population of underprivileged students who receive free and reduced cost lunches and don’t let anything hold them back from achieving their goals.
My students explore Spanish and work towards the IB and AP exams.
We are currently expanding the IB program as we work to mold our students into globally competitive young adults.
With your help we can build a classroom environment that helps them to grow their 21st century skills and become ready for the real world.
My Project
At my school, basic supplies are always needed as students lose, forget, and simply run out of them. By providing them already in the room students don’t have to worry about materials and can come in knowing that everything they need to be successful is already there.
Pens, correction tape, and highlighters help with our literacy goals as students read and write on a regular basis.
The Post-it Self-Stick Easel Pad will be used for anchor charts and student work. The hanging file chart will help to keep papers and supplies organized and in a central location for students to be able to get what they need and get to work.
These supplies will truly help my students achieve.
