Thanks to your generosity our students were able to start hundreds of plants from seeds in our classroom. They germinated herbs, vegetables, and flowers under grow lights and took care of them over the last few months.\r\n\r\nIn April our students conducted a plant sale as part of our Earth Day celebration. They created plant id tags and signs for the sale. They learned some important communications skills as they worked with customers and the sale was a huge success.\r\n\r\nWe planted some of the plants that we grew in our new raised bed gardens and students are now regularly weeding, watering, and maintaining the gardens.\r\n\r\nWe are now in a position to conduct year-round lessons in starting and maintaining plants in our new garden boxes and in our classroom. \r\n\r\nOne special little bonus was that a mother duck laid eggs in our rosemary bushes and our students have been monitoring her nest.\r\n\r\nThank you again for your kind support.","fullyFundedDate":1772906267941,"projectUrl":"project/grow-as-we-grow-edible-garden-seed-star/10131815/","projectTitle":"GROW as WE GROW!
