Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
This project is a request for all of the things I wish I had in my classroom this year to help maintain systems, stay organized, and provide effective tools for learning! It can feel daunting trying to think about all of the things that student's might need in a classroom, but from my previous years of teaching I have learned that these items are hugely essential to have in my room. I'm hoping to set myself and my students up for success next year by preparing as much as I can this year!
Items like tape, card stock, and binders certainly aren't the most exciting items to buy for a classroom, but they help immensely throughout the year!
Everything in this project has been something that I've wished I had (or had more of) at one point or another in my previous years of teaching -- the simple things you don't think about until all of the sharpened pencils are broken and everyone has lost the highlighter they were supposed to keep in their desk.
All of the items on this list will directly benefit each student in class! And as a bonus it will also directly benefit me, by saving my sanity day after day.
