My Project
Thinking ahead as we are about to enter a new school year, I would like to support my students' everyday learning with new and fresh school supplies. Many students begin the school year with little or no school supplies. Although my kids may lack financial resources, they have an incredible work ethic and desire to learn. We are a full Title I school, and a vast majority of our students qualify for free or reduced lunches.
School supplies are an essential part of any classroom and student learning.
Our students may lack the material privileges that other American children are fortunate to have, but they certainly make up for it with talent, fortitude, and sheer intelligence. These supplies will help ease the burden on students' families by helping to provide school supplies throughout the year. It can be difficult for students who cannot come to school with new supplies like their peers. I want all of my students to start on an equal footing by providing basic school supplies everyone needs in my classroom. Providing my students with the necessary school supplies to be successful is a great way to start their school experience.
This project will help ease the students' first-day jitters and relieve the anxiety of not having the supplies they need. They will now be able to focus on their academic development without the stress of missing supplies or running out of the small amount they do bring. Your donation will comfort my students while providing them with a sense of excitement and motivation as they begin their school year. The donations will help my classroom have more of the resources we need readily available for the students.
