My Project

My students work hard in class and I reward those positive choices with points. Those positive choices include being safe, being respectful, being responsible and being kind. These are the kind of characteristics we want to see in them as adults. I want to begin to show them now, these characteristics pay off!

I have opened a store for students to purchase snacks and prizes, while learning about early economics.

They will accumulate and earn points that transfer to classroom dollars. They will learn about saving and spending. At times, they may experience scarcity and have to learn about opportunity cost.

Our store has been open for over a year and it is time to restock. Our store needs fresh snacks and new prizes. My students can learn, save, spend and celebrate making positive choices. We look forward to a restock and will be ready to open for business in the new school year.
