Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are busy little bees this year. They have lots of energy and love to learn and create. With your donations my little kiddos can have an amazing 2019 school year with materials that will last for years to come. These kids love to dress up and get messy. All my students come from low income homes with many English Language Learners. I want to push their capabilities to learn through exploration.
My students have a passion for learning, that I want to keep alive.
Your contribution to our room makes this possible for them. You will be giving them an opportunity to succeed in areas of life that most children struggle with the older they get.

My Project
This year I have two students that are new to this country. They are lacking the proper winter clothing to keep them warm while outside; with parents unable to able provide enough clothes for each day of the week, these students need coats. I am also requesting winter clothes for their older siblings that are in 3-6th grade to hopefully keep them warm during recess. Both of the students have older sisters and while I am not sure on their exact sizes I am hoping that large coats will keep them warm for years to come. I am requesting scarfs as well as gloves that can be divided among the kids in both families.
