This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Welcome! Universal Transitional Kindergarten is a special place to be! I am so lucky I get to spend my days watching these young ones discover and learn.

The addition of a basketball hoop to our playground will offer numerous benefits to my TK students.

It will serve as a catalyst for physical activity, promoting gross motor skills development, coordination, and heart health. Furthermore, it will foster social interaction between my students, encourage teamwork, and communication skills as students engage in friendly games and collaborative play.

Many new immigrants find their first home on American soil here at our school.

Our school is located above the hustle and bustle of the geographic center of our city. Education is very important to our thriving, multi-cultural neighborhood. Eighty-five percent of students are English learners with non-English speakers in the home. Your donation can enrich our playground time, allowing for skill building and collaboration. Thank you!
